Honor Choir USA will take “The Best of the Best” High School and College Students to Honolulu, Hawaii. Our trips offer nominated choral students the opportunity to sing with some of the nations finest vocalists, work with outstanding college directors, visit and tour historical sites in Hawaii, as well as relax and explore this island paradise.
We also customize trips for Quartets and Community Choirs.

Stephen D. (Stubb) Whitesell, is the owner of Honor Choir USA. He has served as Music Director at First Presbyterian Church Miami, OK, Minister of Music at Trinity Baptist-Grove, OK, Minister of Music at First Baptist-Grove, and is a former Instrumental Director for First Baptist-Miami, OK. Stubb is also a former Band Director for N.E.O. A&M College, Miami, Oklahoma. He served as the Music Director for Oklahoma Boys State, sponsored by the American Legion, for 20 years, and in 2017 received the Distinguished Service Medal. He has served as sponsor of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes at NEO A&M College since 1980 and was inducted in the Northeast Oklahoma Hall of Fame for FCA in 2006 and inducted into NEO Athletic Hall of Fame in 2023. Stubb heads a ministry, Norse Campus Ministry, which serves the athletic community of NEO A&M College.
Honor Choir USA has been sponsoring trips to Hawaii since 2005.
After receiving an Associate of Arts degree from Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College in Miami, Oklahoma, Stubb received a Bachelor of Arts/Music degree from Missouri Southern State University in Joplin, Missouri. He has two grown children Stephen Jr. and Brittany, Granddaughter Peyton Rose Whitesell. His wife, Barbara of 18 years passed away in 2005 after a three-year battle with cancer.
